Synopsis

The film "Harvest" follows the astonishing, true story of German baron Johann von Wagner, who after an illegal heart transplant begins to have disturbing dreams and visions. Burdened by memories that do not belong in his life and a responsibility he cannot ignore, Johan begins a personal and dangerous search for the truth. His journey takes him to Kosovo and Metohija, where he faces the dark reality of the illegal trade in organs, linked to the notorious "Yellow House". The meeting with the family of the man whose heart he carries in his chest, his mother, his wife and his little son Milan, further strengthen Johan's desire to try to correct the injustice, even if it is too late.

The authors, actors and wider crew of the film "Harvest" are made up of domestic and international film professionals. The script for the film, inspired by the novel "Serbian Heart of Johanovo" by Veselin Dželetović, is written by the American director, producer and actor Paul Kampf, who is also the director of the film. The co- director of the film is the Serbian director Mladen Šević.

The director of photography is our celebrated Radan Popović, who has been successfully working in Hollywood for 30 years, while the music for the film was composed by Goran Bregović. Bregović wrote over 10 themes for the Harvest, which strongly color the emotional narrative of the story. The film stars an international cast, including: Matthew McNulty, a British actor of German origin, in the role of Johan, Angus Macfadyen, a Scottish actor known to our audience for his role in the famous film "Braveheart", Paul Murray, Rebecca Calder, as well as Serbian actors Jovana Gavrilović, Sergej Tutić, Jasmina Avramović, Aleksandar Jovanović, Sara Cizelj, Jovan Veljković, Vahid Džanković, Radoje Čupić and many others.
